Benjamin Moore Corotech V620.00.1 Concrete and Masonry Etcher, Clear, 1 Gallon

Benjamin Moore Corotech Concrete and Masonry Etcher is a professional-grade pretreatment solution designed to prepare bare concrete and masonry surfaces for painting or sealing. This powerful etching product removes laitance—a weak, chalky layer that forms on concrete surfaces—along with other contaminants and foreign materials that can prevent proper adhesion of coatings. Whether you are preparing driveways, patios, garage floors, or interior concrete surfaces, this etcher ensures a clean, properly prepared base for paint, sealers, and other finishes.

The product works by chemically etching the concrete surface to open its pores and improve the bond between the substrate and any coating applied afterward. A pretreatment before painting or sealing helps ensure that topcoats adhere properly and perform as intended on both indoor and outdoor concrete projects.

Features and Benefits

• Enhanced Penetration: Surfactants in the formula improve penetration into the concrete, making it easier to lift away laitance and embedded contaminants.
• Even Coverage: Extenders provide more uniform etching across larger areas, reducing the need for multiple passes and ensuring consistent results.
• Concentrated Formula: This concentrated solution delivers maximum strength for effective etching, giving you a reliable pretreatment before applying topcoats.
• Low Odor: The product has little to no odor, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications without overwhelming fumes.
• Simple Cleanup: Cleanup requires only soap and water, making the product user-friendly for homeowners and professionals alike.
